A 5-hours session (high intensity)
An example of a novice daily training session of 6 Dragons Kung Fu (1 hour, individual, without special tools):
- 5 minutes of slapping of the body (auto-inflicted, no vulnerable parts, read Body Conditioning: the slapping)
- 5 minutes of running (forward and backward direction, read 5 running exercises ideal for beginners / warm-up)
- 5 minutes of free and fast punches combinations (read How to punch (simple explanation))
- 5 minutes of free and fast kicks combinations (read How to kick (simple explanation))
- 5 minutes of free and fast kicks / punches combinations (sequences)
- 5 minutes of free and fast rotations with the rope (moving in the space, read Stance and basic rotations of the rope)
- 5 minutes of hard-hitting of a tree (with 2 sticks, one per hand, read The basics of short sticks: base strokes and stance)
- 5 minutes of controlled fallings and rollings (walking, read Everything you should know about breakfalls)
- 5 minutes of throwing rocks against a wall (fast recovering, without a specific target)
- 5 minutes of jumps with 360° body rotation (on the Y-axis)
- 5 minutes of throwing in the air a bottle of water and soft recovering (bending each time the knees to the ground, read How to acquire the Soft Touch skill)
- 5 minutes of abdominals (read Exercise 1 for the abs to develop the muscle chain and Exercise 2 for the abs to develop the muscle chain)
This is good training for who is starting to know 6DKF (read How to start practicing from scratch), it is not dangerous and it does require a medium effort.
Even this time we have not included too specific tools, only specific exercises (throwing, etc.).
